Malta is a very special place – a lot works differently, and the longer you live here, the more weirdness you discover. But hey: perfection is boring and those little perks are what make Malta loveable.
Malta is sunshine and warmth – or so I’ve said before. But a few days ago, the impossible happened: it actually snowed. Yep. Snow. In Malta. A joke about global warming would be appropriate now.
Why are you here? is a question I keep being asked over and over again. There’s hundreds of reasons why someone would move to another country, be it love (the obvious one) or the call of adventure, which many refer to as interest in other cultures. Here’s some of my personal reasons, 5 things I love about Malta (and no, it’s not a guy):
22℃, flowers blossom and I’m out in a t-shirt: it’s almost Christmas!
You never quite realise how much unnecessary stuff you have until you decide to pack it all up and move to another country. There’s a lot to bring but even more to leave behind. The only question: what do you take to a country you’ve only ever seen on holiday trips?
My blog is called “Off towards the sun”, but I don’t see much of it these days. Autumn has finally arrived in Malta, too.
