Le Liebster Award

Excitiiing! I’ve been nominated for Le Liebster (not sure why it’s called that – anyone care to explain?), my first nomination for that kind of thing. A big THANK YOU for the nomination goes to Liz Kara.

The award - I got the image from Liz Kara who got it from Grace & Gusto

Every game (is this a game?) needs some rules, so here they are!

  • Answer the 11 questions that the person that nominated you gave you

  • List 11 facts about yourself

  • Name 11 bloggers to nominate for the Liebster Award (that have under 200 followers)

  • Give your nominees 11 questions to answer

Get yourself ready for some weird answers:

  1. Open iTunes/Spotify/Pandora/etc. And hit next 5 times. What song is playing?

Isn’t Pandora a brand of jewellery? Anyway, so before I list the songs I have to explain something: 70% of the songs on my iTunes are my dad’s and I don’t know half of them, so expect some huh?-moments. Here we go: “Blues And Jazz”by Diana Krall (here’s the huh?), “Sempre, Sempre” by Al Bano & Romina Power, “Mavi Mavi” by Ibrahim Tatlises, “Angels” by Robbie Williams (finally one of my own – and one of my favourite songs) and “Listen” by Beyonce.

  2. Also, what’s the first line of the chorus?

“Blues and Jazz” appears to be an album, and its like 50 minutes long, so I can’t answer that.
    Sempre sempre sempre sempre tu
Mavi mavi masmavi (according to Google it means “blue blue very blue”)
And through it all she offers me protection (Is that the chorus?)
Listen, I am alone at a crossroads

  3. What colour would you be and why?
When I was little I would always say “One day I’m going to paint the walls in my favourite colour: multicoloured!”. But, to my disappointment, I later learned that it’s not a colour. Now, I’d be Bordeaux because I can be passionate and I’m not a wallflower, but I’m also thoughtful, calm and not talkative most times, so I think Bordeaux would fit me. Does that make sense?

  4. If you could be trampled by a herd of puppies, kitties or baby bunnies, which would you chose and why?

Kitties, absolutely! I’d let kitties do anything to me! (That might sound a bit creepy…)

  5. Would you rather be a Kardashian or a Duggar? Choose wisely.

After looking up what a Duggar is, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d still rather be a Kardashian because seriously – 19 kids? I’d go mad if someone was around me ALL THE TIME. And I don’t think they get a lot of alone time in that family, do they?

  6. What’s something weird about you?

I once tried to fit as many Haribo frogs into my mouth as possible and I think the result was 21, at which point I almost threw up. Also, I was about 7 or 8 years old.

  7. What’s your favourite pizza topping?

    Hawaii with corn.

  8. The end all be all to this argument: Samsung Galaxy or iPhone?

Is HTC an option, too? Otherwise the iPhone because the Galaxy looks like it’s made from plastic (probably because it IS made from plastic).

  9. What was the last dream you had/remember?

I dreamt that I was doing my job and was worried about being too slow. I know it’s lame, but it’s the truth.

  10. If you could name yourself, what name would you pick? One rule: Can’t pick your current name.

That’s so hard! Maybe Irene, because I like Sherlock so much. I only like the English pronunciation, though.

  11. What’s your favourite season and why?

Spring, because you can still go skiing but you can also play Tennis outside. Also, I like every season and would get terribly bored if there was only one.

In case you haven’t had enough in About me, here’s 11 facts about me:

  1. I accidentally “ran away” four times. All of them happened before fourth grade, and it never occurred to me at the time that little children aren’t supposed to go ANYWHERE on their own…

  2. I’m pretty sure my teachers kind of hated me. At least some of them.

  3. I also got straight A’s nearly all the time, and no, that’s NOT necessarily a contradiction.

  4. One of my dreams is to have 3 dogs and 5 cats one day.

  5. I believe in God.

  6. Steve Jobs is my inspiration to keep doing what I do, the way I do it.

  7. Beer, whine and champagne all taste the same to me, but I can tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi.

  8. My cats know 10 tricks/commands.

  9. I have a Lohgock (Blaziken) on Level 100.

  10. For some reason I’m really good at saving money.

  11. I wish I was better at expressing myself when I talk.

To share the love, I nominate:

Finding 11 questions was hard, but I managed:

  1. If you were a cat, would you rather be a wild street cat or an indoor cat that’s loved and cared for 24/7 by an old lady?

  2. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve done?

  3. What’s your phone’s background?

  4. What’s society’s biggest problem these days?

  5. If you met a new person and could only ask them 3 questions to get to know them, what would they be?

  6. What do you like most about yourself?

  7. Tea, coffee or hot chocolate?

  8. Do you admire your parents?

  9. Do you believe in destiny?

  10. If you had to choose between never eating chocolate again or only eating chocolaty things for the rest of your life, which would you go for?

  11. What’s your biggest accomplishment?
